The Fremont County Homeless Coalition is based in Fremont County, Colorado. It consists of faith-based organizations and other organizations as well as local government and individuals that have interest in serving the Homeless community.

Purpose of the Homelessness Coalition

• To help make homelessness rare, brief, and non-reoccurring in our community
• To develop proactive solutions rather than reactive stop gaps
• Identify common goals for which to advocate around
• Identify our strengths and the gaps within our community
• To seek solutions that are right for our community
• To increase our competitive advantage for receiving funds

The Coalition consists of faith based, government, individuals and other organizations that have interest in serving the Homeless community.  The Coalition is open to everyone. The group has subcommittees for health, shelter and education.
